About this product

Buttons and zips are often the last part of dressing a client loses, and losing them means asking for help with something private. This combination aid puts a wire button hook at one end and a zip pull at the other, on a single shaped handle that can be held in a full palm grip.

The thicker, contoured grip is the point of it. A client with arthritis, tremor, reduced fine motor control or one working hand can hold the handle in their palm and let the wire loop do the pinching. The wire loop catches the button and draws it through the buttonhole, and the hook end catches a zip tab that is too small to pinch.

It is light enough to sit in a bedside drawer and be used standing or seated, so it fits into an existing dressing routine without changing it.
