The Monoflex is a single strap chest support for clients who need the trunk held forward of the backrest but do not tolerate a full harness across the shoulders. Its double tapered shape spreads the load across the midsection and keeps the arms completely free to drive, to eat and to work.
The padding is engineered to give a little under load and then control the movement, so a client with strong extensor tone is met with give and then with control. The swivel buckle equalises tension across the strap so the pull stays even as the person moves through the day.
It mounts to solid backrests and to flexible fabric backs, which keeps it usable across most chairs you are likely to be working with. It works best alongside a pelvic support.
