Formed foot plates give the client a shaped, contoured base to stand on. The raised edges cue the foot into position, which helps a client whose feet drift, roll in or slide forward once they are weight bearing and tired.
The set covers both feet and fits the Caribou and the Rabbit Up, so a service running both frames can standardise on one part. Plates are black moulded and clean easily, which suits shared equipment.
Three lengths run through the range and the right one is the one that matches the client’s foot, not the frame alone: too long and the toes lose contact with the stop, too short and the heel hangs off the back. Check it with shoes or AFOs on, since that is how most clients will stand.
