Sometimes a client needs a bit of positioning help for one task, one session or one outing, and fitting hardware to the chair is not worth it. The Bodypoint Universal Elastic Strap is a hook and loop strap in high stretch neoprene that wraps the chest, abdomen, lap or leg and holds without any mounting at all.
It is built for people with limited hand function. Large grip holes and a thumbhole end tab give something to hook a finger into, the closure works one handed, and the fine hook and loop keeps its grip when it picks up dirt. The strap can be trimmed to length and will not fray at the cut.
It is a useful thing for a therapist to carry: handy for testing a position before you specify permanent hardware, and for sport, therapy sessions and short term use. An optional extender adds length where the strap has to reach around a wider frame.
