A bariatric client needs a shower stool that is broad enough to sit on comfortably and rated for the load. The Hero Medical extra wide stool is built for that: a broad padded seat on a rust resistant aluminium frame with a high weight rating.
Fixed hand grips on both sides give the client something to hold while sitting down and standing up, and the padded seat makes a longer shower bearable. The height adjusts to suit knee height and the way the client stands, the frame is light enough to move out of the recess, and the feet have non-slip rubber tips.
It suits a broad client with reasonable sitting balance who does not need back support. It is not designed to go over a toilet.
