Standard over toilet aids run out of width and load rating well before some clients run out of need. The Royale Medical Premium is built for that gap: a bariatric frame that stands over the existing toilet and carries a much higher rated load, with fixed armrests set wide enough for a larger client to sit between them without pressure on the hips.
Seat height adjusts across a useful range, so you can set it to the height the client stands from most easily rather than accepting a fixed seat. The armrests sit at a sensible height above the seat and give a firm push up point on both sides. The frame is powder coated aluminium, so it will not rust in a bathroom, and it is light enough for a carer to lift aside for cleaning.
It goes into homes, aged care and hospital wards for bariatric care, and it also suits a client who needs extra height and support for a period after hip or knee surgery.
Good to know
- Seat width is 375 mm; the 560 mm figure is the clearance between the arms
- No backrest and no commode pan: this is a frame that sits over the existing toilet
- Check the toilet pan and cistern fit inside the 700 mm by 480 mm footprint
