Standard knee walkers stop at the end of the footpath. The Redgum Cross Country is built to keep going: rear suspension soaks up the bumps, and the large flat free wheels roll over gravel, grass, farm tracks and broken paving without the puncture risk of air tyres.
That matters for a client who lives rurally, has a gravel drive, or needs to get back onto a property or a worksite while the leg is still non weight bearing. Dual locking disc brakes on both sides give real control on a slope, the rear base adjusts for length, and the contoured knee pad adjusts for height so the client is not working around a frame that does not fit them. A removable carry bag with a reflective strip keeps their hands free.
The user needs good balance on the sound leg, a stable injured knee and the strength to brake and steer on uneven ground. On smooth indoor floors and flat footpaths a lighter standard knee walker will do the job for less.
