The R82 splash guard fits to the front of R82 toilet and bath seating, sitting between the legs so flow is directed down into the bowl or commode pan. It saves a good deal of cleaning up after every routine.
Because it sits centrally it doubles as a pommel, keeping the legs in alignment and managing adduction while the child is on the seat. For a single carer working alone that is useful: the legs stay where they were put, and positioning does not need a second pair of hands.
R82 make it in a large profile and a lower profile version. The choice comes down to how much splash control the child needs against how easily they can be moved on and off the seat, so it is worth thinking about the transfer method before picking one.
