Some children on a Heron can manage toileting and showering seated, but only with something to rest the forearms on and push against. This padded armrest pair fits both the hydraulic Heron and the Heron Power and gives them that.

The arms flip back out of the way, so a side transfer or a sling hoist is not obstructed and a carer has clear access when they are back. A child who pushes up through the arms to stand gets a stable point to press on, and a child who needs lateral or forearm support gets it without adding anything to the seat itself. Clients who are always hoisted and never sit unsupported can leave the arms off and keep the sides clear.

They are sold as a pair and go on with basic hand tools. An armrest mounted tray can be added later if the child needs a surface in front of them.
