The central brake kit converts a Stingray with individual wheel locks over to a single foot operated brake that locks both rear wheels at once.
One pedal, one movement, both wheels. For a carer loading a child on a slope, at a kerb or in a car park, that is a real safety gain, because the chair is either braked or it is not, with no chance of one wheel being left free. It is also far easier for a carer with limited balance or dexterity to use reliably.
This is the retrofit version, so a buggy already in service can be upgraded without replacing the frame. It is a technician fit with a mounting instruction supplied, and the brake action should be checked on both wheels once it is on.
