Where a client needs several transfers a day and a floor hoist is either too big for the room or too hard on the carer, a fixed ceiling hoist is the answer. The Molift Air 200 is the motor that does that work on the Molift Rail System, in bedrooms, bathrooms and care facilities.
It lifts fast enough to keep the transfer short, which matters as much to the client in the sling as it does to the carer waiting. The lifting range covers a floor pick up through to a high bed. The motor unit is light for what it does and is rated for a long working life at full load, so it holds up under daily use rather than occasional use.
It is the standard choice for people with high physical support needs, progressive conditions, or a history of carer injury on floor hoists. The rail can run room to room, or across a bedroom and its ensuite, so one motor covers the transfers that matter. Sling bars are chosen to suit the client and ordered separately.
