An extra locking mechanism for the Cricket foot plate, for a child who works the plate loose through the day.
The foot plate on the Cricket swings aside for transfers, which is what makes getting a child in and out manageable. For some children, though, strong extension or constant pushing through the feet is enough to shift it out of position, and a foot plate that moves takes the whole seated posture with it.
This adds a second point of security so the plate stays where it was set. It is a straightforward fix that saves a carer resetting the chair several times a day.
