The K Care KA440 is a toilet surround: a white powder coated steel frame with fixed arms that stands around the pan. There is no seat, so the client uses the existing toilet at its normal height and gains an arm on each side for a controlled sit and a supported stand.
The legs adjust to set the arm height to the client, and the frame is narrow enough to fit most domestic toilets. At its weight it is easy to lift aside and store, which matters in a shared bathroom where other people use the same toilet and nothing should be fixed to it.
It suits clients with reduced leg strength or balance who need arm support to get on and off the toilet but do not need a higher seat.
