This version of the Oxford Presence swaps the standard spreader bar for an integrated four point powered positioning cradle. The carer tilts the client from reclined to upright, or back again, straight from the handset while they are still in the sling.
That removes the part of a bariatric transfer that hurts everyone: hauling on a spreader bar to get a heavy client into position, which is hard on carer backs and uncomfortable, sometimes painful, for the person in the sling. Poor trunk control and pain on repositioning both become much easier to manage.
Underneath it is a full bariatric lifter with powered swan neck legs that open around a wide chair or bariatric bed, an aluminium frame, and the Smart Monitor diagnostic system for service history. Clip attachment slings are available across the size range.
