This version of the J2 Deep Contour comes with a solid drop seat, so the cushion sits on a rigid, level base and holds the shape it was built to hold.
The drop seat also lowers the seating surface, which helps when a client needs their feet on the floor for self-propulsion or transfers, or when cushion height has put them too high under a table or a joystick. A non-skid surface stops the cushion moving during transfers.
The cushion is the deep contour build: a carveable closed-cell foam base with a deep pelvic loading area and a JAY Flow fluid tripad under a soft foam overlay, for clients at long-term risk of skin breakdown who cannot reposition themselves. Ordering the two together saves a second fitting visit and gets the seat height right the first time.
