About this product

The Cura1 2588 is a call pendant worn on a lanyard, with one large rubber button that raises the alert on a paired Cura1 monitor, pager or console. One button is the whole interface, which is the point: nothing to learn, nothing to select, nothing to get wrong under stress.

The button is easy to press with limited hand function, and the ABS housing is splash resistant, so it stays on through the day rather than being taken off at the sink and left there. The battery is user replaceable and lasts well over a year, so there is no nightly charging cradle for a client to remember. It fits single use hospital wristbands as well as the supplied neck lanyard, which suits short admissions and respite. There is nothing to install.

It suits clients who can recognise they need help and press one button but cannot manage a phone or reach a fixed call point: people at falls risk at home, residents in supported accommodation, and anyone whose carer is in another room. Because it pairs with the same receivers used for bed and chair sensor pads, one pager can cover both the pendant and the pads.
