This is the wide configuration of the Endeavour Life Care over toilet frame, supplied with the splash guard fitted under the seat. It stands over the existing toilet, lifts the sitting height and gives the client a steel arm on each side to lower onto and push up from.
The extra clearance between the armrests is the point of this version: a larger client can sit without the arms pressing on the hips, which is often what makes a standard frame unusable rather than the load rating. All four legs adjust for height, so the seat can be set where the client stands from most easily, and anti-slip feet keep it planted on tiles.
It suits anyone who struggles to get down to and up from a low toilet, whether that is after hip or knee surgery, with arthritis or with reduced balance. The splash guard directs urine into the pan, which matters for male clients and for anyone who sits further forward on the seat.
Good to know
- Fits over a standard toilet, no pan included
- Check the bathroom has room for the 660 mm wide base around the toilet
- The same frame is available in a standard width, with or without splash guard
