Rear-wheel drive is the right answer for a client who spends their day outdoors. The Alltrack R3 tracks straight at speed and takes slopes, gravel and rough ground with confidence, and it needs a wider turning circle indoors. If the client’s home has room to turn, that is a trade worth making.
The hybrid traction base runs fully independent suspension on all six wheels, so the chair keeps contact and keeps the client settled over uneven ground rather than bouncing them through it. Motors come in a standard and a faster option, and the chair is built to script: seat width and depth are set at order, and powered tilt, recline, legrests and seat elevation run on VR2 or R-net electronics in the MP configuration.
Who it suits
Adults who drive a power wheelchair outdoors every day, on footpaths, gravel and rural properties, and who need powered seat functions for pressure care or posture. It is the base to consider when outdoor performance matters more than indoor agility.
