Spex Dual Mount attaches a Spex back support to the wheelchair back canes at two points and gives the widest back angle range in the Spex hardware family. A quick release hook and latch lets the back lift off for transport, and there are default and extended set-up positions so reach and growth can be accommodated without new hardware.
It is built for seating that is still being tuned. A growing child, a client with a progressive condition, or someone whose tolerance for back angle shifts through the day all benefit from being able to open or close the seat to back angle at review. The depth adjustment means the seat depth can be corrected at the same appointment rather than waiting on parts.
One thing to check before ordering: it is not compatible with most wheelchairs that have a horizontal back cross brace, so confirm the frame first.
