Built for bariatric clients at medium risk of pressure injury, the Icon Maxx carries a four layer foam construction sized and graded for heavier body weights, so pressure is redistributed without the client sinking through to the base.
The bottom two foam layers are split into three segments, which lets the mattress contour properly as a profiling bed articulates, holding contact through the knee and back breaks. Firm hinged strengthened sides hold the edge for transfers, which matters for both the client and whoever is assisting.
The Advantiflex Classic cover is fitted with an extra heavy PVC base for durability under load, and it is waterproof, vapour permeable and wipes clean. Custom sizes can be made where a standard width will not do.
