A long plastic shoe horn for anyone who cannot reach their feet comfortably. It lets the person guide the heel into the shoe while standing or sitting upright, so there is no bending at the back or the hip.
That makes it useful after a hip replacement, where hip flexion is restricted, and for clients with back pain, limited trunk range or breathlessness on bending. It is light, easy to hang up by the door and cheap enough to have one at the front door and one by the bed.
