The GelCell G2 is for very high risk skin where posture also needs watching. Forty eight interconnected cells, each topped with silicone based TruGel, carry the load, with a greater concentration of cells in the posterior region and contouring across the surface to increase envelopment around the pelvis.
Air is the medium, so the client immerses and capillary function is maintained, supporting blood flow and oxygen uptake. Air moving between the cells also carries heat away from the seat interface. Separate left and right air chambers let you set the two sides differently, which is useful for a pelvic obliquity or a client who loads one side harder.
It is a slim, light cushion and the outer cover machine washes.
