Older Tasmanian homes and newer builds with raked or cathedral ceilings both cause the same problem: a floor to ceiling pole will not reach. This extension piece solves it, so a client living in a high ceilinged room can still have a pole beside the bed or the chair.
It is a single anodised aluminium tube that inserts into the Sure Stand Pole and takes it up to the taller ceiling range. The material means it adds very little weight to the installation and will not corrode.
It comes in bronze and graphite to match the pole it is going on, so the finished installation looks consistent in the room. Measure the floor to ceiling height at the exact spot the pole will stand before ordering, because ceilings in these rooms are rarely level across the room.
