The Constructa Shape is a modular cushion for asymmetric postures, where the shape of the client’s sitting surface has to be built piece by piece. Positioning blocks are moved, swapped and inverted to hold the pelvis, and the strategic positioning kit supplied with it gives you the pieces to do that at the fitting.
High contour shaping suits a client with limited hip flexion, windsweeping, or adduction and abduction that needs controlling. The ischial well blends into the surrounding foam without a firm edge, so the sit bones are offloaded and the client is not perched on a rim.
Invertible thigh and trochanter blocks use a dual layer foam, giving a firmer base under a softer contact surface where the skin sits.
