This is the foam inner and cover for a Dreamline S3 backrest, supplied without the hardware. It suits a client whose mounting and shell are still in good order but whose foam has compressed or whose cover has worn through.
Backrest foam softens gradually, and the change is easy to miss because it happens over months. When it does, trunk support drops off and clients start to slump or lean, which shows up as fatigue and discomfort long before anyone thinks to check the backrest. Replacing the inner brings the support back to what was originally prescribed.
Because the mounting stays in place, the setup does not have to be measured and fitted again.
