A high risk pressure care foam mattress for clients who spend long periods in bed and who score at the higher end of a Waterlow assessment. It is built for clients who need real pressure redistribution but do not need or want an alternating air system.

The ActiveX material is layered so the body immerses progressively, and temperature responsive fabrics in the cover work to keep the skin cooler and drier through the night. The cover zips off for washing and has a 3D mesh border, and an anti slip base layer stops the mattress travelling on the bed frame.

Practical points matter for the ward and for the home: it is flip free, so no one has to rotate it, the firm edge supports sit to stand transfers, and it works on adjustable beds as well as a standard base. A wide range of sizes covers single through to queen.
