The moulded seat liner is the part of the P Pod that does the postural work. It is heat treated foam shaped to encompass the seating area, so the pelvis, thighs and trunk are held in position by the shape of the foam, and that shape does not shift through the day.

Because the liner is moulded, the hip width, seat depth and back heights are fixed once it is made. That is what gives the consistent support, and it is also why the measuring step matters: the liner is ordered to a size chart and made to that size.
