Padded protectors that wrap the split side rails on a Malsch bed. They pad the hard rail surfaces and close the gaps in and around the rail, which is what reduces the risk of a limb getting caught or a person knocking themselves during uncontrolled movement.
This version is made for the handle at the bottom of the rail and fastens with velcro straps, so it goes on and comes off for laundering without tools. They are sold individually, so you can order the number of rail sections the bed actually has.
They suit clients with involuntary movement, agitation or seizures, where a bare rail is a known hazard overnight.
