About this product

Scooping the last of a meal against a flat plate rim takes more control than many people have after a stroke, or with a tremor, or with only one usable hand. This round scoop dish is moulded low at the front and curves up to a high wall at the back, giving a surface to push food against so it loads onto the fork or spoon cleanly.

The base is rubber padded and grips the table, so the plate stays put while the client works against the wall. That is the difference between a meal finished independently and a meal finished by someone else.

It is light, break resistant and looks enough like an ordinary plate to be used at a family table without comment, which matters for dignity at mealtimes.
