The leg divider keeps the legs apart in the Grillo and guides the step pattern for a client who scissors or brings the knees together as they walk. Sitting between the thighs, it gives the client something to work against and keeps the base of support wide enough to step.
It can be ordered with thigh straps where the client needs the legs actively held, or without where a physical block is all that is required. Four sizes cover the Grillo range from mini through to large.
For the therapist it is a straightforward way to change the quality of gait without changing the whole frame, and it can be removed once the pattern improves.
