The Helio C2 is the carbon fibre chair in the Motion Composites folding range. The unibody frame and moulded cross brace are both made from high tensile T700 carbon, which takes a large amount of weight out of the chair without giving up the folding action.
That weight saving is the whole argument for the chair. A client who has to lift a chair into a boot several times a day, or who has limited shoulder strength and wants to keep driving, feels the difference on every transfer. The ultra rigid folding system keeps the frame stable while pushing, the forged vertical axle plate and Evolve integrated castor housing keep the setup precise, and the anti flutter castor adjustment stops the front end shimmying.
Every C2 is built to the prescriber’s script, with seat width and depth, front and rear seat heights, back height, frame and back angles, camber and centre of gravity all set on the order. Frame and handrim colours are chosen at the same time. A heavy duty kit is available for heavier users.
