Standing transfers into a hygiene chair need the feet to land on clear floor. The flip up divided footrest for the Starfish Pro lets each plate be swung up out of the way, then dropped back under the feet once the person is seated.
It gives each foot its own plate, so leg length differences and asymmetric tone can be accommodated once the client is in the chair. Getting the plates clear also helps when a carer is bringing the chair in over a shower recess hob or a toilet.
The plates are supplied as a pair and sized to the chair, and they mount to the same adjustable leg sections as the rest of the footrest range.
