This is the replacement outer cover for the XLella Vigour bariatric back support in the Hi height. Keeping a second cover in the cupboard means a soiled or damp cover can go straight in the wash without the client losing their back support for a day.
The dual layer construction is doing clinical work, not just holding the foam in. The two layers move against each other to absorb shear at the skin surface, and the air mesh panels down the sides let heat and moisture out of the space between the client and the shell. The front face wicks moisture away from the back.
It pulls off and refits without tools, so a carer or a support worker can change it over. Zippered side access stays available for adding wedges and padding.
